Can I pick up the Monkey Bomb on Samantha Bed?

COD Black Ops Zombies for the Wii. When I teleport to the random room I can see a Monkey bomb on Samantha's bed but I can't pick it up. I tried jumping on the bed, hitting the "A" on (action on) but I can't seem to get it. What can I do?
