Will my puppy be ok hearing her mum and dad from next door?

hi peeps i was given a puppy(7months) from my neigbour 2 doors away my puppy was raised in a workshop in the garden along wiv her brother. yesterday i took her in my garden to do her bits and her mum/dad was barking form the other garden she hurd it and started calling out for them and acting funny whimpin know thats normal but im just wondering if this will always happen when she goes out into the garden or is it because shes still just settling in the fences are really high she can jump them nor see whats going on.
