Help I hate my girlfriend's short hair!?

I hate this trend! Why do so many girls think they look good with it? They are not Rhianna! =( Even worse, I tolerate it but when I get short hair myself (nearly bald but styled with a fade) she blasts me for it and says "omg ewwwwww". Of course when I confront hair about blasting me, she says she still loves me regardless of my hair. But anyways, the short hair is really unattractive to me. I believe you don't own anybody in a relationship, but it's really... Eh, and she likes it a lot. The only plus from this is I know other guys won't be looking at her the wrong way >.<.
