How to act like a vampire for Halloween?

I kno it's July but I like to be ready for Halloween so I need some help! I'm not gothy or anything like it, I fit in with the smart *** hipster types so when it comes to wearing costumes I have no idea... I want to make my own costume with normal clothes cause the costumes at Halloween stores a totally unrealistic and stupid! When it comes to make up I hot it covered but costuming is not my thing! Help!
