Go to www.armed-guard.com and do a search for JW Mc Andrews...there are pictures and newspaper articles about the Mc Andrews...you might also try the USS Lane Victory website, they area very active group and might have something. The Maritime Museum in San Pedro, CA might have something or might be able to direct you to a good resource...good luck!
