You need to create a budget that includes a financial goal. To do that you need to decide on how big of a supply you will need like for how long, one time, for one month, or one year etc.. The shelter will be able to provide you with records of the average amount of children that they have housed. Then do an itemized pricing for the items in each bag to determine the cost of each bag. Then make a list of the businesses that you plan to solicit. divide the total budget amount by the number of businesses to determine a means goal for each bus. Meaning if you need $100 and you are going to ask 10 bus. for donations then if each one gives $10 each you will reach your goal.
